  • What is happening to Powershop Pro?

    PS Energy UK Limited, trading as Powershop UK, is now part of the E.ON group. This means that in time, all our customers will be supplied by E.ON Next. Moving forward E.ON Next will not be able to support the unique way energy is currently bought with Powershop Pro. To prepare accounts for the move to E.ON Next, we first need to transfer them to Powershop Lite.

  • When should I stop buying Powerpacks?

    Our shop will remain open to you so you can buy and use Powerpacks up to the point you get moved to your Powershop Lite tariff. We recommend you continue to buy and use Powerpacks as you would normally, to get your best possible rate. Once you are moved onto your new Powershop Lite tariff, at your Top Shopper rate, you will not be able to buy Powerpacks anymore.

  • What will happen to the Powerpacks I already have?

    Any unused Powerpacks you have will be credited to your account and you will be able to see this credit on your account balance. If you decide to leave us, we will refund any unused Powerpacks you may have purchased and any credit on your account, if applicable, after your final bill has been paid.

  • Why are you only crediting me the price I paid for my Powerpack not the value of the discount I purchased?

    When you are moved on to Powershop Lite you will be credited for any existing Powerpacks you had on your Pro account that were unused. Your Powershop Lite tariff is set at your Top Shopper rate, which is the best rate you could have achieved if you’d bought all the Powerpacks on offer. Therefore, you are still getting the discount for your future usage (which your Powerpacks would’ve given you) and any credit on your account will be put towards this.

  • What's happening with future packs?

    From 1st February 2021, we will no longer be displaying future packs in the shop as these would've been applicable for the months April-July, by which time the changes to your account will have been made. Any future packs you have already purchased will remain on your account and will be credited back along with any other unused packs once you have moved to your Powershop Lite tariff.

  • What are my new Powershop Lite rates?

    Your new Powershop Lite tariff rate is unique to you! It will be set at your current Top Shopper rate which is the cheapest rate that would have been achievable if you had bought all your Powerpacks with Powershop Pro. You will receive this rate until your Powershop Pro tariff is due to expire. You will be able to see your Top Shopper rate by logging into your Powershop account and selecting ‘usage’ and then clicking onto ‘your tariff information’.

  • When will I be supplied by E.ON Next?

    It’ll take a while before all our customers can be supplied by E.ON Next. We’ll contact you to let you know when we begin moving your account to E.ON Next.

  • I am still waiting to hear about what happens to my Powershop Pro account. What happens next?

    If you’ve recently received your Powershop tariff renewal email, you will move onto the new Powershop Pro tariff on the date shown under ‘usage’ and then clicking onto ‘your next tariff’. We will then be in touch with you to let you know your next steps prior to your move to E.ON Next.

  • My Powershop Pro tariff is due to end soon. What happens next?

    If your current tariff is due to come to an end on or before 30th April 2021 and you haven’t been contacted regarding your renewal, we will transfer you to your Top Shopper rate, and then hold these prices for you whilst we communicate with you about your new options moving forwards when your current tariff ends. Remember, you have the option to switch to another energy supplier or tariff as per our Terms and Conditions. We’ll do everything reasonable to ensure the transfer takes place to your chosen supplier within 21 days of them telling us. Just so you know, we do not have any exit fees on any of our tariffs, so there is no penalty for switching away, and we will refund any unused Powerpacks you may have purchased and any credit on your account if applicable.

  • If I want to leave Powershop, can I get a refund for my Powerpacks?

    We hope you won’t want to leave us, but you always have the option to switch to another energy supplier in accordance with our Terms and Conditions. We’ll do everything reasonable to ensure the transfer takes place to your chosen supplier within 21 days of them telling us. Just so you know, we do not have any exit fees on our tariffs so there is no penalty for switching away, and we will refund any unused Powerpacks you may have purchased and any credit on your account if applicable. We will inform you of the final balance after we issue you your final bill - this may take up to 6 weeks.
